Scala’s Troy Tipple, a veteran of Theatre and TV recorded his first ever radio play whan he played “Tibbut” in Radio 4’s adaptation of “Kestrel for a Knave” for Goldhawk Productions.

Connor completed filming his second series of this popular comedy sketch show for CBBC.

The Bay – Lucy Hillyard as “Kelly Meredith” – ITV

13 Year old Lucy played a particularly stressfull role in this gripping 6 part drama starring Morven Chistie.

A Very Yorkshire Christmas – Isla Cooke

6 year old Isla played Katie in this Christmas movie for Hallmark Film. She had a wonderful time making cakes, meeting Santa and decorating trees with Michelle Dotrice. This Christmas movie will run and run on the Hallmark Channel.

Ratburger – Sky

Scalakid Talia Barnet had busy few weeks filming David Walliams “Ratburger”. Talia plays Zoe – a little girl who struggles to keep her pet rat out of the hands of the evil Burt from Burt’s Burgers who’s eager to serve it up for lunch. Emmerdale – Huey Quinn “Kyle”

Gorgeous Huey originally played the part of Cain’s son “Kyle” as a baby, returning to the role in 2013 along with grandmother “Joanie” played by Denise Black. Following Joanie’s death in 2017 Kyle is now under the care of the Dingles.

To Walk Invisible – BBC

Scala’s Troy Tipple and Talia Barnett play Young Branwell and Young Emily Bronte in this lavish new feature length period drama about the lives of the Bronte sisters. Written and Directed by award winning Sally Wainwright (Happy Valley, Last Tango in Halifax). The Drama was filmed in Yorkshire.

Beowulf – Return to the Shieldlands

Scalakid George Kent played “Young Slean” in this epic fantasy drama on ITV. George’s black belt in martial arts was very useful during the fight scenes between his character and the young Beowulf.

The Moorside – BBC

11 year old William Hunt plays “Peter Bushby” – the son of Julie Bushby (played by “Cilla” and “The C Word” actress Sheridan Smith ) in this gritty TV drama about the women who rallied round when schoolgirl Shannon Matthews went missing from her home on a Dewsbury estate.
