A Midsummer Night’s Dream – Opera North
A sprinkle of fairy dust and a dash of silver lashes (shhh! Don’t ask about the lashes!!) — several talented Scala Kids appeared as fairies in Opera North’s enchanting production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by the brilliant Martin Duncan. A magical experience for all involved!

Scala’s Imogen plays Jenny Alderson. Little sister of James Herriott’s love interest Helen, played by Rachel Shelton, in Channel 5s fab revival. Starring Sam West as Siegfried, Callum Woodhouse as Tristan and Nicholas Ralph as the well loved Yorkshire Vet James. Imogen loved her time on the farm – but dont mention the ferret!
Kestrel for a Knave – Troy Tipple – BBC Radio 4
Scala’s Troy Tipple, a veteran of Theatre and TV recorded his first ever radio play whan he played “Tibbut” in Radio 4’s adaptation of “Kestrel for a Knave” for Goldhawk Productions.

6 year old Isla played Katie in this Christmas movie for Hallmark Film. She had a wonderful time making cakes, meeting Santa and decorating trees with Michelle Dotrice. This Christmas movie will run and run on the Hallmark Channel.
Emmerdale – Willow Bell – “Millie Tate”
Scala’s Willow Bell makes her TV debut in the soap. The 5 year old plays Kim Tate’s surprise Grandchild Millie. Kim was unaware that estranged son Jamie had not only a wife but a 4 year old daughter…making Kim a very unwilling Grandma!

Emmerdale – Katie Hill “Sarah”
Katie took over the role of Sarah Sugden in 2017. Katie’s previous experience had been theatre based having played “Maggie” in “Scrooge the Musical” with Tommy Steel, “Florence” in Cameron Mackintosh’s “Oliver” and “Little Cosette” in Futurist’s “Les Miserables”.
